CPS television advertising?

I happened to find myself in front of a TV today (which is unusual for me), and noticed that the city of Chicago is running ads saying that the teachers' strike is "bad for students". Where do they find the money for this nonsense? It makes me angry to think that they will spend money on these ads that ought to be spent on educating the city's children.

have real needs that we are broke. Hell, we're going to spend $40,000,000,000 (40 billion dollars) every month buying up losses so the banksters can keep their profits but suffer no consequences for their criminal negligence.

I wonder how many children we could give a world-class education to for 40 billion a month?
