several articles were using that photo, but obviously most were not. It was a good idea to check by using image search -- didn think of that at the time.

But that is really odd. Now the question is why these sites would substitute a photo of a German counterintelligence officer for Nakoula. They just couldn't resist putting a picture in even if itś the wrong person?

There was a correction link to something called the Tablet, a sort of news gatherer site, I think where it (the incorrect photo) might have originated...

And I KNOW that this Nakoula will look quite unlike the German guy and not in a good way...

Might have to pay for the mugshot on some site, I would think.

on his photograph? I know the guy is real because he served time, so his photo must be public record somewhere. Newspapers routinely publish mug shots for people who make news, and you'd think they'd shell out a few bucks to see what this guy looks like.
