Foreign Service "Rage" Towards Romney

From a Foreign Service Officer …

It’s probably not a surprise. But can I just say that if Mitt Romney wins in November, he is going to have a very chilly reception from his employees every time he goes abroad? I don’t think I can quite state the rage we’re all feeling towards him.

And I agree that there's a lot of rage right now. But I have to make this point: if, God forbid, Romney is elected, he will receive the same high level of performance from Foreign Service officers that all of his predecessors received -- because we're professionals, and we do our jobs (which includes serving our president without regard to politics) very, very well.

Those who attain office more often have been Democrats in the last century. The Republicans usually never made it, but Rockefellers were decent or went Democratic. In this new century, of course there are some decent multi-mill/billionaires. But what is the problem of the Koch brothers types? They and their families are set forever. A little more care for the planet and concern for mankind can't be that hard. I'm beginning to suspect that they (along with Mitt) have a superiority complex over the rest of us. This is over -riding any human instinct. The insane thing is that neither Mitt or the Kochs attained this superiority on their own, just thank Daddy. Lucky sperm club= insensitive superiority.

It's hard to believe half this country is going to vote for this individual. When they say this race shouldn't be close because of the bad economy, I say it shouldn't be close because Romney is not fit to hold the office of president! After all we've seen, the president should be way ahead. What is wrong with people!
