Migg Rmoney can't be that dumb. There *has* to be some rational plan in place.

I've tried to discern a strategy underlying all this crap that he's been spewing. Does this sound feasible?

Miss knows he's getting his ass kicked. They've given up on some states and some constituancies.

They have one hope . . . . that they can so energize their base voters (you know who they are - the hard right core that hate Obama) that they can overcome the other shortfalls. It is a proven fact that the hard right base *will* turn out to vote.

Matt, therefore, is turning up the nature and intensity of his campaign's rhetoric in hopes of whipping them into a frothing mass of frenzied crazies, much like the Summer Of The Teabaggers.

I think that's kind off all Mutt's got left.

people liked. It was like he knows he's and idiot and we know he's an idiot but he is our idiot...

Romney is just not liked by untold millions of people. Hell, his own party can barely tolerate him.

I hate to say this but a lot of people wanted to have a beer with GWB. I can't think anyone would want to drink sparkling water with the Mittster, not even his staff.

Remember, this is from the election in 2000, not after the country got to know him better.

And also, Romney THINKS he is brilliant while Bush never really thought he was the smartest guy in the room.

THAT is the plan Romney intends to emulate.

Use the media to manufacture consent, which is why they are pretending this election is still close even after all the lies and stupidity.

'Rational plan'. Hah! That's good. This is truly the bottom of the barrel for Republicans. We thought Palin was it but they reached down a little further. I don't actually see them recovering from these twin debacles for a long time.

I am torn between being pissed off, to the point of yelling at the computer...or simply popping more corn and chuckling..

maybe his brilliant strategy is that.. he will appear so crazy, that we will stay home figuring nobody could possibly vote for someone that confused... the old 3 stooges path to the oval office (it will be discussed for years!!)..

actually i am really relieved.. every since the mid terms, the congressional effort to sabotage President Obama, have been chipping away at President Obamas numbers.. before they played the stupid card, it looked like it might work... their stupidity turned what could have been a close election with a chance of victory, into a rout of possibly historic proportions
thank you Mr. Romney!!

At this point, if you're not batshit crazy, or hide it it somewhat, but still have no morals or principles you can get nominated for pres. Then you can have your batshit crazy vice pres. If you're batshit crazy, the rest of the American political world is your oyster for republicans these days

(apologies to oyster lovers)

I listen to Limbaugh to see what the other side is saying....almost all of the lies they tell come straight from Limbaugh.

I think Romney and Ryan listen to Limbaugh and they believe him. They have no idea they have been caught lying so many times, because he keeps covering their asses.

He is so wasted these days, he just says whatever drug addled idea that pops in his brain and he's got some weird shit swimming around in there. Really. weird. shit.

It doesn't matter how many people vote for Romney 'it's not the vote that matters, it is who counts the votes'

Their stupid shit, overt lies, lack of substance is meant to confuse us, make us let down our guard as there is no fucking way anyone would vote for that fool.

But all they have to do is create the idea through the Koch media that someone likes him (remember Walker paying people to put up signs in their yards)...and we will all accept it when the 'liberal' media tells us that Romney won.

Remember the media playing James Baker saying 'they counted the votes, over and over and over' Blatant lie, but that didn't stop our corporate media.

They have done it before and they will do it again.

The corporate media has been receiving a huge financial gain from the stolen wealth of the 1%ers.

The 1%ers like Koch return a huge amount to the corporate media to continue to lie for them through campaign commercials etc.

I wonder how much they are paid to promote studies like 'organic food is no better'

They are taking money to lie to us on our public airwaves.

Getting out the right wing fringe is not going to get him elected. Such of those who will bother to get themselves to the polls would already have voted for him.

Instead, he's alienating the middle of the political spectrum, and that group outnumbers all the rest, left or right.

I hope he continues his plan right up to the election.

It would sure explain his and other republican's doubling, tripling, quadrupling down on extremism. Now despite their well known financial muscle, there simply aren't enough actual 1 percenters to actually throw voting levers to win the day for him. Between his arrogance and the bad advice he's doubtless getting from the teabagger controlled GOP noise machine he is going to go for broke wring out every last nutjob vote he can. In this way he figures he can hopefully string together enough racists, christian fundamentalists, and rich pricks to punch a hole through the walls of the coveted middle ground vote to win.

I mean, what else can he do other than quit? Go moderate and lose the lunatic fringe he's desperately been courting? No, it's do or die for him and his minions.

Romney officially shit the bed this week.

Stick a fork in him; he's done.

Let's now turn our energy and $$$ to helping our Senate/Congressional candidates so we can "clean House".
