This $*!# is getting old.
http://blog.sfgate.com/hottopics/2012/09/12/racial-slur-on-hooters-receipt-not-unique/
A former Hooters customer has sued the restaurant in New York City, alleging employees called him an ethnic slur on a receipt.
The receipt contained the slur chinx, the AP reports.
Kisuk Cha, a Korean immigrant and the plaintiff in the lawsuit, is not the first person to call out a business for insensitivity.
In January, The Huffington Post reported that Minhee Cho posted a photo of her receipt from Papa Johns, which contained the words lady chinky eyes under the customer name. Cho did not file a lawsuit, but her post elicited an apology from Papa Johns on the companys Facebook page.

Apparently New York racists have not heard that there is a derogatory term strictly aimed at Koreans.

(51,457 posts)1. Does it really say that? I have a half dozen in my purse where the cute little
waitress has scribbled 'thnx' or 'thinx'. Could it just be bad penmanship?

Need to see it before passing judgement.

the chicken dishes were written down as 'chix alfredo' or whatever. May be a case of bad penmanship?
