He can’t hide out in the open like Republicans have become accustomed. Everyone who took a 20% hit in their 401-k is now looking for him. He pissed off the 401(k) crowd—the swing suburbanites Republicans had counted on to vote regardless of the candidate.

Burr may have used his insider info, but he was also Chair of the Intel Committee during the impeachment and this is pay-back.

He's really pissed at Burr putting out the report that indeed Russia did attempt (ha, did it not attempt) to highjack the 2016 election in favor of drumpf. He didn't go along with the "it's all a hoax" strategy like Toad Barr did and drumpf totally lives for reverge.
