Does anyone doubt that if President Obama DID testify before Congress

that he would run rings around the reprehensible Republican reptilians?

His testimony would be carried live by every network. It would get tens or hundreds of millions of views on social media.

He would be his usual articulate, calm, and brilliant self.

The Republicans would be reduced to rubble, exposed for the sputtering jackasses they are.

Hey GOP, be careful what you wish for.

On the other hand, please proceed.

The Democrats should call him and go over preparations for pandemics and materials and resources he left behind.

But they're also stupid and entirely self-deluded, thinking themselves to be oh so clever.

The most rabid among them believe themselves to be invincible. They've built up this fantasy version of President Obama that bears as much resemblance to the reality as the empty chair Clint Eastwood "debated" at the RNC convention.

The more they stoke their base with this nonsense, the more difficult it will be for them to back down.

Imagine it happening after Labor Day, as people begin seriously tuning in to the presidential election.

Well, I can dream, can't I?

He no doubt has privileged information about Flynn's dealings, and he can talk about why his administration fired Flynn in the first place.

And that's only one of perhaps a dozen sensitive issues he could unleash.

I think this is a big reason Lindsey Graham tried to shut this idea down.

which is when he threw his hissy fit and ditched the format the other GOPers had come up with.

The idea of President Obama testifying is now all the rage on right wing twitter. Graham may not be able to tamp it down.

It's merely the optics that need to be played out- a President in Congress giving testimony. Aren't most Magats usually home with the TV on and sound turned off?

Half the lawyers in the room would end up disbarred, just for being numpty enough to let him show up and speak, let alone DEMAND IT.
