that he would run rings around the reprehensible Republican reptilians?
His testimony would be carried live by every network. It would get tens or hundreds of millions of views on social media.
He would be his usual articulate, calm, and brilliant self.
The Republicans would be reduced to rubble, exposed for the sputtering jackasses they are.
Hey GOP, be careful what you wish for.
On the other hand, please proceed.

The most rabid among them believe themselves to be invincible. They've built up this fantasy version of President Obama that bears as much resemblance to the reality as the empty chair Clint Eastwood "debated" at the RNC convention.
The more they stoke their base with this nonsense, the more difficult it will be for them to back down.
Imagine it happening after Labor Day, as people begin seriously tuning in to the presidential election.
Well, I can dream, can't I?

The idea of President Obama testifying is now all the rage on right wing twitter. Graham may not be able to tamp it down.

(964 posts)It's merely the optics that need to be played out- a President in Congress giving testimony. Aren't most Magats usually home with the TV on and sound turned off?
