Once the House members could ask him questions, it took about 30 seconds to determine if they were Democrats or Republicans. It was easy.

(46,166 posts)And break down the accuracy of Bright's negativity about the drug's effectiveness against covid-19.
They failed. After a while they gave up and left the room. For about the last hour it was mostly Dems asking questions. Bright was sincere, even tempered and scholarly. So after a while the Rs had nowhere to go.
I'm glad I got up early to watch it.

(53,862 posts)in other words to kiss trump's ass even though hydroxychloroquine has proven to be ineffective in treating covid-19. I couldn't believe it, as they hadn't heard the reports that more patients treated with it had died than lived.

(31,261 posts)If the President needs money to stockpile PPE and medical equipment, if Congress doesn't appropriate the full amount requested, simply take money from departments that have more that enough, like ICE or Defense. Donald Trump did that from areas like Food Assistance, Education, ect, and the Courts let him. If the Courts rule something adverse to our position, ignore them and explain that they let Trump do that same thing and hence made it legal.
We can't have a situation again where an Obama asks a republican led Congress for pandemic preparation money and gets nothing. We just take the fucking money and do the right thing.
