Did anyone catch the mic whispers between President Obama and Secretary Clinton just now?

He said 'great job'. She said thanks. There were a few other things that I couldn't pick up.

They do respect and like one another, I think.

The President told Secretary Clinton to put down her notes. She said that's okay. She didn't know what to do for a second, she was trying to be polite and all, but then she decided to put down her notes anyway on the podium - since Obama did say it was alright. That's what I heard whispered anyway.

That's what I think I heard also -- and I saw the gracious exit from the podium, followed by a firm clasping of their hands together almost out of sight. These two deserve honor and respect, each one in exactly the right place on the world's political and diplomatic stage.

I think at the very beginning there may have been a little tension, but they're both intelligent people and knew that working together was more important than personal feelings. After all these years together, I think they've developed a professional bond and friendship.

She could be a good president because she's a class act.
