This is to take nothing away from anyone. It is simply an acknowledgement that this may be the hardest working Secretary of State in modern times, and almost surely the hardest working person in Washington, DC.
Thank you, Secretary Clinton.

Like you! And we need you! This thing isn't won yet.
Now get to work.

It is one of the very best pictures I have ever seen of her. Powerful, intelligent, serious, gravitas.

You know I'd probably be more scared of Hillary if I were a bad guy. Obama is cool and serious but not as intense as Hillary.

(12,778 posts)Hillary Clinton: So you are talking about the outsourcing of US jobs to India. We know it's been going on for many years now and it's part of our economic relationship with India and I think there are advantages with it that have certainly benefitted many parts of our country and there are disadvantages that go to the need to improve the job fields of our own people and create a better economic environment so it's like anything like the pluses and minuses.
The "advantages" to the executives and shareholders, not the US workers.

(58 posts)She was so, so very impressive yesterday. It made me proud that she represents our nation and womankind. Some day I may feel up to relitigating American Imperialistic policy abroad but yesterday wasn't one of those days and neither is today. Watching her strength in that ceremony partially relieved the burden in my heart over our country's great loss.
