Cuomo is slowly opening parts of NY. Each area has to reach certain goals before reopening.

He told us, the people of NY, it's up to YOU how things go. If you are smart about reopening we can hold off a big spike in cases. If you are stupid, we will have a big spike in cases.

Rightly so, Cuomo is telling the people of NY you are also responsible for what happens. Don't be stupid, be smart. Cuomo knows how to lead. He knows how to talk to people.

Only the city and sounding areas and parts of western New York seem unlikely to open anytime soon.

Where I live almost everyone is listening to Cuomo. I have only seen a couple of people not wearing masks. Everyone is social distancing and I have not heard one person complaining about stay at home order. I must live in one of the more sane parts of America.
As a matter of fact I know I do. We have a lot of Trump voters where I live and I have never seen anybody wearing a Trump hat.

I think it's because they know people here will raise hell with them if they advertise they love Trump. I know hardcore Trump voters and they do not where Trump hats.

Wonder how long/if most people in the areas he extended lockdown will cooperate.

There were idiot protests in LI already.
