A Rant to Biden's Campaign

I'm supporting Joe. I've already donated to the campaign and plan on doing so in the future from time to time as I can afford it. And I'm sure the hell going to vote for Joe in November along with the rest of my family.

You already have my unwavering support, so why am I getting 8 text messages and 10 emails each and every day from you? I'm guessing that voters who are undecided are not being swayed by constant bombardment via text messages and emails, and in fact are probably turned off by it.

Please put more effort into winning social media, getting advertising on television exposing tRump's lies, and explaining how you're going to fix the country. We NEED this win in November.

I just delete them. I don’t want to tell them to stop because once the General begins, I think they will provide good info. Right now they are just raising money.

2. I'm getting the same deluge. Maybe there are duplicate (or more) mailing lists

and we are on all of them. I ignore them except when I can kick in a few bucks - Although it seems excessive I've come to accept that this is the way fund-raising is done now.

12. It's called fundraising

It's literally how they fund their campaign so they can do the other stuff the person in the OP said they need to do. Except I guess Joe is just supposed to pull the money out of thin air? Who knows since they offered no alternative method as to how he was supposed to get the cash other than not by bothering them.

Block the emails if you don't want to see them, but that's literally how grassroots funds are generated.

15. I'm a volunteer on the campaign and get less than you.

Weird. Maybe you're linked up to (several) entities outside the campaign? Or, exaggerating? Either or, block them and move on. I'm so over this tired trope of complaining about fundraising.

I give to animals at the pet store to avoid The Humane Society.

AARP are just as bad if you quit or join.

Joe is five months away. I’ll stand it that long.

You should get another email and use it for groups that send daily emails. Then you only have to check ever so often.

8. Funny thing about that, others are complaining it's not enough.

I kid you not. Trump's messaging game is vastly more aggressive and Joe is being criticized for not ramping it up more. 'How does he expect to win with a weak game like that?!' Type of silliness.

Another funny thing... Those messages generate revenue to, 'put more effort into winning social media, getting advertising on television exposing tRump's lies, and explaining how he's going to fix the country.'

But, do carry on.

11. I read it and rolled my eyes.

It was in the NYT and was written by a bored person in quarantine who'd signed on to both campaigns. They ascertained Trump had an advantage because his game was so much more aggressive. At the time I thought how different the demographics were between the two and how people in Joe's corner would go ballistic if he hounded them 5X as aggressively, let alone the other campy BS Trump pulls.

My silent theory is proven correct.

If you don't want to be involved in fundraising block the number and email and move on. Complaining about standard fundraising methods is just silly to me, but I see it every damn cycle here. Where do people think the money that funds campaigns comes from? It's extremely expensive to buy advertising for a campaign and the money has to come from someplace.

Then, the icing on the cake moment, they want Joe to advertise more on social media and television exposing Trump's lies and explaining how he's going to fix the country. Joe just can't fundraise to get the funds To do so... because it bugs them.
