Trump is a "bully." That is easy to see. Most people do not like "bullies."

...Some people do like them, but most don't. We don't like them because they bullied us and they are mean and vicious. Trump has never stopped this behavior, and he never will.
...After the 3rd or 4th time you deal with a bully, you stay away from him or her and avoid that person if possible. And also, you begin to dislike that person and even much stronger, "hate that person."
... Trump has been on TV, in all the media, and in countless places for a long time. "He thinks he can get away with it." He won't, not this time.. Come election day in November, Trump will lose and that is one of the main reasons. Trump is a bully and most of us don't like bullies. After 3 years, 5 months, Trump showed everyone exactly who he is: A mean and vicious bully who cares only about himself and no one else..

They still blithered "But Hillary's e-mails..."

You know the people who stand around and laugh while the bully is doing his thing? Those are Trump's supporters.

..And I think you are correct, "Many people knew about him before the Election", but for some reason were willing to give Trump a chance. I believe that those that wanted to give him a chance are done with Donald Trump.
.. Not only did Trump waste that chance, but I believe he has turned many who wanted to give him a chance, are now against him. Time and time again, even today, we read posts about strong Republicans who have contacts with us here at DU, who have turned against Trump and will not vote for him.
.. What I read is that these people are very long term, life long Republicans who will not vote for Trump. Story after story about close relatives and friends who supported him last time, will not support him this time. They will either not vote at all, or vote for a 3rd party candidate, or for Biden. Those stories are here at Democratic Underground and are important to me, because they represent maybe 10 percent of Trump voters. (maybe more)

Unless that bully is a racist and his supporters support that racisim. Then they love the bully. That group is our beloved Deplorable Dummies.

The good thing is that many independents who didn't like either HRC or the Idiot swung for the Idiot in 2016. That's not going to happen in 2020.

The other thing about bullies: unlike Michelle Obama's taking the high road, you have to slam bullies in every way imaginable within the bounds of law and ethics. EVERYTHING is fair game, including taking pot shots against the Idiot's appearance since he is a narcissist and does this to everyone. It will infuriate him. Then hit his "administration" and him on the law, the illegalities, the mistakes, the lies, and the utter monstrosity of his complete failures to deal with the Trump Virus, doing everything at the same time, and he will be subjugated.

Bullies need to be bullied back: there is NO other way.

6. On the contrary, there are plenty of people who really, really like bullies...

...as long as they're not the target. Some side with the bully just to avoid being targeted themselves, but a dismaying large number support the bully and cheer him on. "Get'im! Get'im, Butch!"

Those who get the "Butch" reference will also get my name for this: Woim Syndrome.

The vicarious thrill gotten by a display of power and/or intimidation.

And it's addictive, as long as there's no apparent cost.

About how to deal with bullies. The way we handled it in high school back in the day, was to cold cock the SOB. With a guy like Trump, every time he opens his mouth, you instantly call him out on on his lies and bullying. Tell him he’s full of shit like the journalist’s do every day at his briefings. Won’t do any good, cause he’ll never change, but at least he’ll know you have nothing but contempt for him. Since he’s the president, obviously that’s about all you can do and hopefully enough republicans like the Lincoln Project along with us Dems will be enough to get a landslide going and vote him out of office.

After "suffering*" under 8 years of Obama, they wanted revenge. They wanted a juvenile bully just like themselves to represent them. To take down the libs. To take down the media. To take down Hillary and Obama. To take down anyone who isn't just like them and isn't part of them. It required a childish bully. Trump fits the role perfectly. So of course they love him; he's a hero to them.

*(they actually suffered under 8 years of Fox news and Rush Limbaugh, but it was made to look like Obama caused the suffering.)
