1990 Donald Trump - I wouldn't trust the Russians
The only thing that has changed about Trump is his stance on Russia and Abortion. If you listen to the tapes - the themes are the same - America was greatest in the 1950's, make our allies pay,
too many immigrants and a bunch of grievances. Oh and by the way, he said he would want to be a president for only one term back then. Lets make sure that wish is fulfilled.
1990, Playboy magazine: Take a look at this March 1990 Playboy interview. Lots of politics in here, including Trump's response to a question about how he'd handle an international crisis, perhaps involving nuclear weapons:
"And how would President Trump handle it?
"He would believe very strongly in extreme military strength. He wouldn't trust anyone. He wouldn't trust the Russians; he wouldn't trust our allies; he'd have a huge military arsenal, perfect it, understand it. Part of the problem is that we're defending some of the wealthiest countries in the world for nothing. ... We're being laughed at around the world."
