If they did, they would have kicked Donnie to the curb last Fall.

There real constituents would disagree about how useful they are. They are golden retrievers and worth a lot by way of keeping the gushing upwards gushing and keeping us in check.

They help keep the Wealth Hoover sucking away as it vacuums the wealth into the coffers. We are the wealth creators, they are the wealth usurpers, enjoyers, keepers.

That's their job: acquire and keep, crack the whip and talk about the dignity of work for the plebs. Wear a family values suit and toss out wedge issues. Project, deflect and distract to defend the vested interests. The armor of industry.

where my professor asked everyone on day one to write on a card “what is the greatest threat to the planet?..”. He then read a card everyday throughout the semester to strike conversation. Most of my fellow students put “global warming”, or, “pollution”, or, “nuclear war”. Things like that. I wrote, “Let’s get down to brass tacks here.... Republicans are the greatest threat to the planet.”

Needless to say, I got an A in that class. The professor was a total hippie.
