There was news here that Abbott’s government was combining Covid-19 testing for the virus with antibody tests of people who already had the virus to make “testing” numbers look better. Given the governors of Florida and Georgia, I would not trust one bit of data coming from those states.

That just services to confirm expectations, which is why some people have taken it as more confirmation than it can be. Since I think a lot of people already had that expectation, what would actually suggest the possibility of novel information would be, "lockdown protests might not have spread virus widely."
