The bottom line: the cost of a POTUS Fucking up the US response to a pandemic

The bill for Donald J tRump’s incompetence is as stark as it is infuriating:

* Hundreds of thousands of American citizens dead. Dead.

* Tens of trillions of dollars in emergency spending to keep the economy from tanking.

* Tens of trillions of dollars in emergency spending to keep Americans from starving, losing their homes, etc

* 20-30% unemployment, with the majority of those newly unemployed unable to find meaningful work for one to two years, minimum

* Tens of thousands of small businesses destroyed, never to return

* Hundreds - maybe thousands - of large businesses negatively impacted, their future viability in doubt for the medium-term

* Loss of standing in the world as a world leader

* Loss of confidence at home in government institutions

And so much more, all of it due to the incompetence of a single person - Donald J tRump.

He and Obama knew how to manage a pandemic so well that it never would even get close to Donnie’s botch-job...
