In Illinois Covid Deaths Remain High But Hospitalizations Are Going Down

This is great news as long as people don't go crazy breaking the rules.

I worked last weekend as a hospice nurse in Chicagoland. It is heartbreaking what is happening to families being torn apart with seniors dying without family present and families making horrible decisions with no good choices.

The hospice I work with is going to be training all our nurses including me in testing our patients for Covid. Testing is huge here in Illinois. I still wish we had more. But, we are going in the right direction.

I even saw a better level of cooperation at the garden center on Saturday. I saw 2 people without masks, and there had to be 50+ people there during that 20 minute visit.
Hoping as you said.
