Free Ohio Now has announced more rallies, this time in Trumbull County.

The group has two events scheduled for Saturday, May 23.

The first event will take place in Cortland at 290 South High Street in front of the Cortland Roller Rink at 1 p.m. The second will be at 40 North Main Street in Niles in front of the McKinley Memorial Library at 3 p.m.

A news release from the organization says the Memorial Day Remembrance events will take place as many other public events have been cancelled.

The group says they believe in honoring the memory of those Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend Constitutional rights and individual freedoms and it is too important to let the day pass without a tribute to them.

According to a release from the organization, Free Ohio Now announced demands that include the following:

Rescind the state of emergency order and stay at home order
Release all coronavirus data and cease all contract tracing efforts
Open all businesses without restrictions
Continue with in-person voting in November and beyond
Pass laws to prevent unconstitutional statewide quarantines of healthy people!

This is just a two doors up from JohnnyRingo’s house and our Post Office right across the street!

Instead, we see thirty of them at a time sitting in on The Daily Shitshow, legitimizing this nonsense.

We should, by now, know exactly who is behind these protests and their motivation.

the ONLY ones I care about anymore are the healthcare persons who will have to take care of their sick asses when they get sick.

That's not 100% true, but this is...FUCK EM.

The problem is that we have people who have no real idea of what freedom means in regards to the constitution so much so that they can't or couldn't see any real threats to it if it was right in their faces. I mean how our freedom comes with reciprocal responsibilities, (which are absolutely vital to maintaining it) that, for rational people can clearly be spelled out.

The sheer, vapid confusion of people who scream out "my rights", "freedom", "Constitution", "22nd-Ammendment" and the like is more dangerous to those three concepts than any other threat right now. Those who understand the meaning of all three may be vigilant and diligent, but they would not co-opt them for their own gain, party, etc.

It is those who make the loudest protest over what they don't or can't understand that now present a clear threat to democracy and they would follow a demagogue right off the cliff being so sure about what they don't really comprehend well.

I refuse to let these childish ass wipes ruin my Memorial Day weekend. I’ll be home with my family grilling burgers like every other sane person in the area. I hope their little pity party draws zero spectators.

Although, samplegirl, maybe you and I could set up a stand nearby and sell bottles of fake hydrochloriquine! we could make a fortune!

My wishes will likely be ignored because it's a story that will probably attract viewers... like people slowing down just to gawk at motor vehicle accidents.
