*There was a discrepancy here - as of an hour earlier - a difference of two hundred in each of the sets of confirmed cases. I went with the lower numbers which have been consistent during several rotations within the 1pm hour.

We need to look beyond masks, curve flattening, testing, tracing, to make hard choices - what we can effectively do. 60% +, of the population is likely to be infected.

And this evening, what Andrew Zimmern called "an extinction event" for restaurants - an estimate that 60-80 percent that won't make it.

Did somebody somewhere say "game-changer"?
