As in, what kind of disaster do you think he will attempt to trigger. And, which side will the majority of the GOP choose - the side that is for the good/survival of the nation, or the side that might keep their dossiers under wraps. I know I keep coming back to that explanation for why they are putting party over nation, but my gut says that's a big part of the problem.

It's gotten out of control, beyond our wildest nightmares. If trump and his goons want to establish a 4th Reich, what's stopping them from doing it? Bill Barr? Mitch McConnell? The tattered remains of the U.S. Constitution? A decent guy like Joe Biden and those who vote for him?
Better get ready.

(26,289 posts)trump* has a history of walking away from failures, and pretending they were a success. That was on a state and only somewhat national stage. This is on the world stage.
Personally, I hope something 'prevents' him from doing anything other than leaving, and the earlier the better. Say, November 4. I think Pence would be far less vindictive.

We know he is a very poor loser. But come hell or high water, the Secret Service will drag his lard ass out of the White House in January if he refuses to go, or tries some stunt.
