Trump sealed his fate today.

He demanded that the faithful be allowed to assemble to pray THIS weekend.

How many churches, synagogues and mosques will demonstrate their allegiance to him?

Trump is treading on sacred ground. The people are watching.

He just checkmated any hopes of getting rid of his sorry ass for the next four years. His worshipers will remember that above all else, get that glazed over look in their eyes, and worship him even more....in the voting booth. There aren't enough millions in the blue states to counteract the 4 people in Bumfukt with way too many electoral college votes. We are screwn.

anyone dumb enough to show up to the pews this weekend would have voted for him regardless.

You can worship, be communal, and make a joyous noise just as well watching a sermon over Zoom without the chance of catching CV.

8. Anyone in this bunch who'd vote for him would do so anyway. And, outbreaks are sure to happen.

That is unless they follow very strict distancing rules, wear masks, disinfect bigtime, etc. These kinds of indoor congregations are where the stuff gets spread in a BIG WAY. Thinks of all the talking, singing, shouting, etc.
Perhaps some of them getting the virus (not that I wish it on them, but THEY are the ones putting THEMSELVES at risk) will wake
some of them up. (Or, they may just say it was "God's Will" and they won't care. ???) I am all for people practicing their religion, but they can do it online, in their cars through broadcasted sermons, etc. as many are already doing, until it is safe.

Something like this won't play too far into the dynamics of the election. It mostly comes down to the fundamental of whether a majority wants CHANGE or not. If so, mostly likely Trump loses. Right now it is not looking good for Trump.

We can LOSE ALL 16 of NV, AZ, NE-2. ME-2, IA, MO, LA, WI, PA, OH, IN, NC, KS, AK, GA, TEX

and yet STILL win

As long as we flip only FL and MI (Biden is up double digits in both in multiple polls) and hold MN (very likely or even a lock), NM (lock), CO (lock), NH (very likely), and VA (lock)

Hell we could even lose NH and still win as long as we hold NV (very likely we win that as well)

I just accounted for EVERY remotely close state/split district (all 23 of them, 21 states and 2 districts), and many of those that I put in the 'Loss' column were only for example to show you the odds are really in our favour atm, and I expect, in reality win multiple ones out of those 16 (AZ, NV, NE-2, PA, and have a decent, if longer, shot at GA, IA, ME-2, NC, and WI (the last two I would put as much more sure flips but they are MASSIVELY corrupt)

IF we just win FL and MI, its 80/90% plus that we win back the POTUS

WI, NC are so close, but so corrupt

You can throw your hands up. Thankfully, the overwhelming majority here will show up to remove his ass in November. Irrational defeatism is a bore.

on their ass about it, that can't make them happy. The wackjobs will love him even more, but I doubt he gets many new votes.

I’m in DE, and in a small Presbyterian church with a large percentage of elderly and have already had 2 people diagnosed. One recovered, one passed away. We don’t intend to go back anytime soon, certainly not over the summer, and perhaps after that.
