So who made the call to arrest Omar and will there be any accountability?

What happened this morning shouldn’t be just swept under the rug.

He was very polite, agreed to everything and complied with all requests. Still got arrested.
Shortly thereafter the rest of the team were arrested also - producer and camera operator.

Another CNN reporter says he was 'treated much differently'

CNN's Josh Campbell, who was in the area but not standing with the on-air crew, said he, too, was approached by police, but was allowed to remain.

"I identified myself ... they said, 'OK, you're permitted to be in the area,'" recounted Campbell, who is white. "I was treated much differently than (Jimenez) was."

Jimenez is black and Latino. Kirkos is white, and Mendez is Hispanic.

what are the police planning that they don’t want recorded? Thankfully there was not ugly violence but I believe that was the plan when the order for arrest was issued. Thank you to whoever put a stop to it.
