the Secret Service are showing great restraint, but you really don't want to fuck with the Secret Service, and their restraint will only go so far if the protesters attempt to go past them.

So far, a couple of officers have been injured but the Service is being very reserved.

The Secret Service would collectively stand down. And let today's modern Mussolini get what he deserves. Brutal, yes but, deserved nonetheless.

This would not end well for those protestors.

LBJ didn't ENJOY watching the protests. LBJ didn't excoriate protesters nor delight in their injury and death he caused.

I remember all that well. I was a young mother in my late 20s, early 30s. I was fearful for my little son. So I marched.
