I think until everyone truly understands why this is going on and why they are destroying property, we're still in trouble.

I have seen so many people criticize them, but so few listen.

Which is what we all need to be doing now, listening.

This is right out of the Trump/Nixon playbook

They want protestors to look bad and "dangerous" so Trump will get re-elected.

Keep in mind that Biden will probably have an AA running mate.

This is a racist plot...

It's "law and order" politics based on fear.

"To re-energize the campaign, SCLC organizer James Bevel devised a controversial alternative plan he named D Day that was later called the "Children's Crusade" by Newsweek magazine.[58] D Day called for students from Birmingham elementary schools and high schools as well as nearby Miles College to take part in the demonstrations."

"That evening King told worried parents in a crowd of a thousand, "Don't worry about your children who are in jail. The eyes of the world are on Birmingham. We're going on in spite of dogs and fire hoses. We've gone too far to turn back now ."

...and I think there's a strong element of incitement to violence from the highest office in the land, on down, for many folks who have been stoked for what is years now for some kind of racial war by the president himself.

Young men are often easily led into battle, and certain Americans have been endlessly told that others are their enemy. It's not hard to reason that many who are regularly influenced by these malevolent interests would be eager to join or lead this fight they've been promised is necessary and inevitable.

community activist leader, said that outside agitators and provocateurs were responsible for the destruction of property.

Ray made it clear that she knows local activist leadership and none of them were advocating for violence or any other illegal activity.

Ray's made her statement during a press conference earlier today which also included Governor
Walz, Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan (2nd Native American woman to be elected statewide executive office in U.S. history) Atty. Gen. Keith Ellison, and Amy Klobuchar.

The predominant message of the press conference was an appeal to Twin City residents to honor the 8 p. m. curfew which would aid local law enforcement in the identification of outside troublemakers.

And probably taking cues from their crime chief don. Maybe even stirring the pot way before there was any real problem.

Other than their don, who else is calling the shots? Lots of money and planning behind this. Something the criminals in the wh aren't smart enough to pull off on their own.

breaking windows and acting in a coordinated unit to generate the fires and violence. Some of the people who were doing that damage are Militia types who appear to be acting as organized domestic terrorists.

None of this is about the false characterization of peaceful protesters. It is about a group of people who are in Camo or Tactical garb who are firing into crowds and at police, who have been observed using IEDs, who have been seen setting fires and destroying the offices of non-profit community agencies. They are engaging in urban warfare on a broad scale and they are organized. They are not the BUNDY crowd who talk but don't shoot. They appear to be vigilantes who are trying to start or participate in the apocalyptic race war predicted in the Turner material.

Postal Service. It was the only organization that hired Black people into decent paying jobs way back. When I was growing up, the sight of a Black Postal Carrier was a source of pride where I lived. I just don't see Blacks burning down a Postal Branch.

It is informative that Trump has been attacking the Postal Service for a few weeks and now some branches are being set fire to.

Why don't journalists ask him if he thinks The Boogaloo Movement support him. His answer would reveal a lot. First, since he lies, we'd know that a denial means yes. Second, since he lies, we know an affirmation, even if a lie, would also mean yes to them.
