DONALD TRUMP: VICIOUS DOGS READY TO ATTACK PROTESTERS

Donald Trump boasts that law enforcement is just looking for an excuse to beat people up. So, while leaders throughout the nation try to calm things down, Trump continues to try to stir shit up as though he is looking forward to the blood shed.

https://www.tmz.com/2020/05/30/donald-trump-vicious-dogs-attack-protesters-white-house-dc-george-floyd/

Donald Trump sounded like a southern governor in the '50s or early '60s Saturday morning, boasting that the protesters at The White House had a surprise in store -- attack dogs.

The President said nothing about the reason for the protests. Rather, he talked about how safe he felt inside 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. ... "Great job last night at the White House by the U.S. @SecretService ... I was inside, watched every move, and couldn't have felt more safe. They let the 'protesters' scream & rant as much as they wanted, but whenever someone got too frisky or out of line, they would quickly come down on them, hard -- didn't know what hit them."

He went on ... "The front line was replaced with fresh agents, like magic. Big crowd, professionally organized, but nobody came close to breaching the fence. If they had they would have been greeted by the most vicious dogs, and most ominous weapons I have ever seen."

And, then the most bizarre comment ... "Many Secret Service agents just waiting for action." He suggested the young agents were the most aggressive, seemingly quoting a Secret Service officer ... "'We put the young ones on the front line, sir, they love it, and ... good practice.'

5. Trump tells law enforcement: 'Don't be too nice' with suspects (2017)
Sat May 30, 2020, 12:53 PM
May 2020

Trump has been a long time fan of police brutality so long as it is not directed toward a bunch of armed racists protesting a stay at home order designed to protect people from the pandemic.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2017/07/29/trump-tells-law-enforcement-dont-too-nice-suspects/522220001/

Trump vowed the administration would continue to go after the gang and he appeared to encourage law enforcement to be more violent in handling suspects.

“When you see these towns and when you see these thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in, rough, and I said, ‘Please don’t be too nice,’ “ Trump told the audience of law enforcement officers at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood, N.Y.

“Like when you guys put somebody in the car and you’re protecting their head, you know, the way you put their hand over, like, don’t hit their head and they’ve just killed somebody, don’t hit their head, I said, ‘You can take the hand away, OK?’ “

Advocates who work with immigrants and who promote human rights said the comments advocated divisiveness and hate.

Thank you Dalton, for this excellent reminder that Trump’s remark is much worse than nasty on the face of it, as it evokes this regrettable history. This is a very inflammatory remark on Trump’s part. He is showing us who he really is. Also remember dogs were used to track down, attack and capture escaped slaves.

Attack dogs? You can sense his glee as he asks his supporters to visualize how he plans to “make America great again.”

The Secret Service are professionals, not some backwoods militia "just waiting for action", that's the last thing they would be bragging about.

He thinks he's starring in some Hollywood action film where he's the beleaguered hero, beloved be all.

25. Why anti-lockdown protests are a 'magnet' for white supremacists and far-right extremists
Sat May 30, 2020, 02:46 PM
May 2020

White pro-Trump protesters, perhaps emboldened by the fact that COVID-19 has hit minority communities harder, have engaged in widely publicized re-open protests that have been promoted by right wing media with the protesters portrayed as patriots. In contrast, people marching and protesting the killing of unarmed minorities are portrayed as thugs by that same media.

https://www.businessinsider.com/why-white-supremacists-have-protested-lockdown-orders-2020-5

At the beginning of May, states across the country began to relax stay-at-home orders that closed non-essential businesses and ordered residents to practice social distancing. But while the majority of Americans supported the continuation of social distancing measures meant to prevent spikes in coronavirus cases that would overwhelm local medical systems, including lockdown and stay-at-home orders, state leaders across the country faced mounting pressure from protesters to reopen — even if doing so didn't coincide with the advice of health experts.

Texas, which saw anti-lockdown protests at its state capitol throughout April, began to relax its stay-at-home at the beginning of May, and since then, infections have spiked as nail salons, restaurants, movie theaters, and even gyms reopened to the public. On Saturday, state officials reported 1,801 new cases of COVID-19 — the highest the state had so far seen in a single day.

Republican Gov. Greg Abbott attributed the increase in testing in the state — particularly in hardest-hit areas like meatpacking plants — and continued to push ahead with Texas' plan to reopen. As of Wednesday, all 50 states have at least partially reopened.

Far-right groups, including some with white supremacist ties, have flocked to these protests around the US arguing against the state orders meant to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Him and all of his administration are trying to bust up all anti-racist groups. I wish someone would tell the protest leaders about this. That way they can try to defend themselves and weed out any extremist pro-racist types that are pretending to be on their side, but are there only to hurt them and break them up to keep justice from happening.

40. Trump relishes the prospect of violence against human beings protesting injustice
Sun May 31, 2020, 08:00 AM
May 2020

The impulse of this immature vindictive malignant narcissist is to strike back at people who would DARE to protest at HIS White House, against HIM.

He is incapable of human empathy or providing the kind of leadership the American people need now more than ever.

Foremost inside the cavity under his comb-over is anger at a personal affront and a desire for revenge. If this POtuS could, he would have the protesters mowed down with automatic weapons fire to assert his dominance and to demonstrate what happens to anyone with the unmitigated temerity to protest against him.

This megalomaniacal sociopath has the instincts of a spoiled child, a bottomless but fragile ego, the ambitions of a brutal dictator, and tens of millions of followers who would like to carry out violent reprisals while he eggs them on from his safe fortress of white privilege and power.

To validate this kind of "leadership" with another four years of power could very likely be the end of the great American experiment in democracy. The courts are being packed, the US Attorney General acts as the president's personal lawyer, and the GOP has become the POT -- the Party Of Trump. Their strategy for holding onto power has become inextricably linked to him and his rabid base of support as they go all out on voter suppression while their king rails against mail-in voting during a deadly pandemic, decrying a "totally rigged" election to establish a pretext for holding onto power regardless what happens this November 3rd.

We are in an existential crisis on many levels -- a deadly pandemic, climate change, and racial injustice to name a few -- but first and foremost is the dire threat to our republic and civic institutions by this president and his enablers.

The United States of America, as we once knew it or believed it could be, will not survive another four years of this. The American people are being torn apart while the very worst elements at the highest reaches of our government are doing everything they can to consolidate power in their own hands -- placing themselves and their leader above the law, by becoming the law.

I don't know what will happen. I do know that we have to get souls to the polls in overwhelming numbers on this third of November. Donald Trump, and Trumpism, has to be repudiated and ejected. The heart and soul and the future of America are at stake. All the hopes and dreams we have for our children and their grandchildren depend on this.
