(81,866 posts)They showed the astronauts while the countdown was happening and then all of a sudden they changed to a rocket in the air. It made no sense.

(12,418 posts)Fox News is the only station I can get and they actually did a great job of showing the launch and 1st and 2nd stage separations.
A truly flawless launch, it's good that the US doesn't have to rely on the Russians to launch our astronauts into space anymore.

(12,418 posts)I can deliver my load to Medford, OR.
I only watched Fox for the launch, not realizing I could use YouTube to watch.
Oh well, live and learn, now I have to fumigate my truck to get the stench out.

(4,559 posts)the SpaceX web cast site. It's on right now and you can rewind to the launch:

(4,559 posts)I doubt it's strong enough though - maybe try to locate the industrial strength formulation.
I'll probably have to burn it to the ground to get rid of the stink.
I wonder how I can claim that on my insurance?
Of course I'm kidding, just in case the RW trolls are lurking here.

(65,085 posts)I posted this in another thread, but this one was about broadcast of it, so I'm repeating.
WGN cut from regular programming just about T minus 10.
I think they were just rebroadcasting the streaming feed. Because they didn't miss any important parts.

(23,354 posts)They showed liftoff when the countdown reached zero, dunno what more I could expect. They had some experienced people discussing the various rocket stages, so that was nice.
All the way down to zero, the weather looked threatening.
Fly safe.

(10,885 posts)When I did so, there was a 1 minute difference in the countdowns , with MSNBC showing the shorter time so I elected to stay there. At one point, I did switch back just to confirm what I had seen, and the difference hadn't been adjusted. Therefore, I thought CNN was
purposely broadcasting on delay. It was weird.
Seconds after the launch, I went back to CNN, only to see Dotard's fat body turning away from the rocket and clapping like a wet seal. Mother and Pencie were turned towards the launch, but Fat Donnie was preening as though he thought the crowd would be looking at him rather than the rocket. Another Me-Me-Me moment.
