throwing objects at police, that would be grounds for serious assault charges. Absent that .. prosecutors are not real anxious to charge plain old "protesters." Remember charges can be filed at any time. But it's largely determined by what LE is willing to work on in building evidence and a case. If LE wants charges here .. chances are they will get them.

(Also think it should be possible to determine, through cell phones, how and where these individuals came from .. and who they arrived with. Were there assembly and coordination before arrival at cite of protest? And that would constitute conspiracy to commit ..)

Chief Birkihiser told reporters that police arrested six protesters Sunday and charged them with low-level misdemeanors.

The six are in addition to the single individual arrested at Saturday's protest.

Birkihiser said those arrested were processed Sunday night and released.

That part of the state is crawling with white supremacists and/or gun nuts.

I should text my brother in law and ask if he has an alibi. My wife's family is full of heavily armed trumpers, though most of them aren't racist, just extremely closed minded about other cultures (they don't care what color you are - as long as you don't have an accent, like guns, and love Jesus).

I don't think half of them even realize I find their opinions repulsive.

Those that do are polite enough, I let them hunt on our land in the fall, they give me a nice share of the meat if they get any deer.
