not make sure the protests are peaceful.

they want to stop the protests.

it's not about peace or the law or anything.

it's about us not *objecting* to white supremacist rule.

I read in another quote they want to return to the "right normal" - yeah, well, it ain't just black folk who don't care for what passes as "normal" these days.
