My grandparents & uncle/aunt were conservative evangelical Christians and I'm so glad I'm not in the world anymore. I don't believe you need to read the Bible to be a moral person.

The hypocrisy from Christian Conservative evangelicals is a big part of why I'm an atheist.

You can’t wish or rage away something that speaks to people. Just because I doN’t believe doesn’t mean I don’t understand the need of many, many people to understand things through metaphors (yes, literal to them but the concepts are vast) and to feel hope and wonder through the writings of people who talked about important things.

That’s why it’s so easy to pervert for those who use it for personal power. But it’s a fact, and using it for good is inclusive in the way we ask for inclusion for so many other beliefs.

I don't have a problem with Christians, Muslims, any religion except for the far right sects. I still don't think telling Trump to read a bible is going to help anything. Trump identifies as a Christian and that is exactly why Im not a Christian. Plus it is like Santa Claus or the Tooth Fairy to me.

Can you imagine the people who will come out and cheer?

Meet with George Floyd's family, talk to the mayor and civic leaders, talk to protesters. Right now we don't have a president, and so he should simply assume the role.
