And he has acted pretty quickly. I hope they take these guys into custody and don't let them out on bail.

Don't know if that's true but if so it might be one reason why they haven't been arrested yet.

(Yeah, we can use that too, only here it is TRUE!) - this should have happened within the first few days, at least!

It only took 8 quick minutes to rob George Floyd of his life and it takes 8 long days to charge the cops who helped steal it?

10. I saw that the medical examiner's original report-

which kind of suggested that George Floyd was drunk AND had a heart attack and it was sort of just coincidental that he died at the moment that a cop was kneeling on his throat-

was replaced with one that said clearly that this was homicide.
(This came only after the family's independent examiner had clearly laid out how his body shows the damage that killed him.)

I think one serious systemic problem-- that we saw with Trayvon and Arbery cases-- is not just that there are rogue cops and racist cop-wannabes, but that the local "justice" system often protects the killers. They don't arrest them immediately, they don't do an investigation till months later IF there's a big enough outcry. They do a shoddy job and (as with Michael Brown's killer) pretty much instruct the grand jury not to indict.

And here, they don't arrest him on the spot, as they should have, and taken all of them into custody and started interrogating them. If the video hadn't gotten out right away, Chauvin would still be out free.

As it is, he's got a fairly easy bail, and will get out right away probably. And the other three STILL haven't been arrested, so the prosecution has lost time getting them to testify against each other.

This isn't a bug, it's a feature. They deliberately do a bad job, and if they do this in a northern liberal diverse city, we can imagine what it's like in the south. Oh, wait, we don't have to. George Zimmerman walks among us.

... is probably more responsible for the death than Chauvin. It's impossible to breathe if you can't expand your ribs and diaphragm.

A jury could just waived the charges as a lynch mob action.
