I support all unions. I also believe the police have a right to representation. Having representation doesn't mean there are no consequences for your actions. I truly hope these crooked cops get kicked out and prosecuted. That's what I hope.

The Union could save your job for many infractions, but if you were found guilty of any of these, they would not contest your termination. That's how it should be for police contracts as well.

I have been a Union Steward, President, Head of the bargaining committee and organizer for four states. In my life. Cop Unions have turned into hostage takers. They simply hold cities hostage to their demands. I fought hard for my union brothers and sisters rights. That being said someone has to challenge them. They have a culture that simply says no accountability, little consequence for your actions.

Need to legislate laws and statues that reign in the power of the police unions. It is entirely upon these elected officials to enact the rules needed.
