the narrative in his usual chaotic way. This Sucker loves to throw shit against the wall and see what sticks or what kind of feedback comes from the splatter other than stink. The his next move is to play into what suits his sick mind.

This from CBS News (bolding mine)

Saturday's marches featured few reports of problems in scenes that were more often festive than tense. Authorities were not quick to release crowd size estimates, but it was clear tens of thousands of people — and perhaps hundreds of thousands — turned out nationally.

The largest U.S. demonstration appeared to be in Washington, where protesters flooded streets closed to traffic. On a hot, humid day, they gathered at the Capitol, on the National Mall and in neighborhoods. Some turned intersections into dance floors. Tents offered snacks and water.

EDIT: and this from Forbes,

Days the Trump administration was sued for using tear gas on peaceful protesters near the White House, thousands of protesters gathered in Washington D.C. on Saturday in what city officials estimate is the largest Black Lives Matter demonstration since George Floyd died earlier this month.

I've seen the videos of the various demonstrations. They were huge. No number estimates coming out and trump is showing that the crowds were not as big as expected.

Something smells.

from WTOP News, Washington (dozens of photos at link),

The size of protests waned through the week, but D.C. police chief Peter Newsham said he had expected Saturday’s to be the biggest yet, and possibly one of the largest the city has ever seen.
