I have a "theory" about the cop who killed George Floyd...warning: totally evil & upsetting..

.........Well...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.YES, JUST A THEORY....!!!!!!!!!

...My theory is that the cop, Derek Chauvin was showing the rookie cops exactly what they could get away with and have....no consequences.. He had been around a long time, and that district had a reputation for being very rough ...(I read that today)..I guess he was "showing off" sort to speak..Why?..Who knows?
.....Perhaps someone had done the exact same thing for him when he was a ..."rookie cop." I told you it was evil and upsetting...

But I'm sure stuff like that happens all the time among police officers. I watched John Oliver's piece on policing and he talked about the role training plays in their behavior. It was frightening. They are trained to be predators, to be willing to take a life without feeling guilt. "On the job" training of this sort would make total sense.

I’d thought there could be one ups man ship going on - guys bragging about what they got away with.

It wouldn’t surprise if this Chauvin guy was trying to show them how tough he was.

On and the 3rd was apparently the wild Wild West of the MPS.

The attitude shown in the video was chilling.

I have been thinking about how one seventeen year old changed the world. And I am so sorry that she had to see it.

Also, what about Floyd and Chauvin working in the same nightclub for years??? And they didn’t know each other?!?? - maybe the trial will shed light on any kind of weird dealings they may have had with each other...

But meanwhile,

RIP George Floyd

Video of George Floyd’s murder had a discernible ’Training Day’ quality to it.

Mr. Floyd knew too much about someone or some thing. It seems targeted, to me.

Still evil, though.

for something that happened. And the cop was pretty sure he could get away with it. Without the photograph,
would he have gotten away with it?...That is the thought I had..

It just seems like there was a very quick overreaction to a report of a man attempting to pass ONE counterfeit piece of money.

Did it seem that the cops on the scene too quickly? Why so many officers for one guy they needed to question? Why the violent overreaction to the non-violent offense that allegedly started the whole incident?

Why did the lead officer seem determined to make sure that Mr. Floyd was dead?

The whole thing makes me sick. That man should be alive today.

and said the Chauvin was uncomfortable working the African American themed nights. She said he seemed afraid of black men.

He wasn't when he had Floyd handcuffed and two others to hold him down as he choked him.

Typical coward.

as soon as he heard or saw that George Floyd was being taken in he decided to kill him. It was premeditated, Floyd knew too much or Chavin had a personal grudge against him.

I’m waiting for testimony to come out about how he bullied rookie cops into doing things they might not have on their own. I got that feeling when it looked like one the other cops was standing around doing nothing to interfere. It was the way he was standing, like a kid afraid an adult will smack him, either right then or later.

It was a fleeting feeling but the look on Chauvin’s face was one of someone who was in control of everything. It was the look of a bully who has the upper hand. It’s unmistakable. He gloated.

I think we've all encountered this type of coworker if we've worked enough jobs. The ones who want to impress the newbies with how super-confident and awesome they are.
