During a Fox News interview, Trump boasted that he had been better for Black Americans than any president in history. He then suggested that Lincoln’s legacy was “questionable.”

“I think I’ve done more for the black community than any other president, and let’s take a pass on Abraham Lincoln, because he did good — although it’s always questionable. You know, in other words, the end result –” the president said, before host Harris Faulkner cut him off.

another opportunity to shove himself into the spotlight, and Joe Biden into the wings.

The news media has to stop clutching their pearls every time Trump says something unbearably stupid. His base eats it up, and swing voters really don't give a damn, they tune everything out until the weekend before an election.

Casting aside the Constitution as the primary code, for it was a truly flawed document, he brought us again to face our fundamental challenge: that we be a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.

By definition, there was no room for slavery in this new order.
