If these dentists are poking around in the mouths of people who also thought the whole thing was a hoax it's on them if they get it, but it's on everybody else if they spread it around. The occupational safety and health administration would nail their asses for the sake of the employees, the state health department would close them down for the sake of the patient, and they will do this. In addition, Dentists and physicians, In fact anyone who’s licensed, can be reported to the licensing body of the state or Commonwealth in which they practice, and that opens a gigantic can of worms which cannot be closed.

My friend (an employee) had already sent pictures of reused disposable needles, bloody glass ones in the drawer, a pile of wipes to be reused, urine samples stored with new appliances, and more. An inspector showed up a few months later (wearing slippers for god's sake) and about all she wanted to know was whether the dentist kept a gun in the office. She proceeded to ask the employees if there were irregularities and of course they said no, otherwise they would have been fired. And this dentist already had sanctions on him in the past! He was cited for diagnosing illnesses outside of his expertise and he is still working to this day.

Some Rs aren't as tribal as others, but since Fox is their mainstay they don't know better I suppose. But even the nice ones are proudly deplorable. They embraced the identity because they have the pride and independence of a Westerner and Texan. There's a touch of ornery with a smile and neighborliness.

Early on, the last three years have taught me that Trumpers cut across professions. I've refused to socialize or do business with any of them.

During the stay at home days, my periodontist emailed his patients regularly with updates, closed his office before he had to by law, and has now opened with very strict guidelines and practices, which he shared via email.

I never heard from my other dentist's office until they called the other day to see if I wanted to come in for an available appointment. I didn't call back. For some reason I'm more afraid of getting coronavirus than of neglecting my teeth right now.

I like my regular dentist. I'm not trying to say they're not doing the right thing. But I'm just not ready to leave my house right now. I do appreciate the communications from my periodontist, which tells me they are taking this pandemic seriously. I don't know if the lack of communication is evidence of the opposite from my regular dentist.
