I think the biggest story will be what happens in the parking lot at the Tulsa rally.

I'm sure I read there will be temperature checks at the entrance, along with masks (which I'm sure most will wave as pennants rather than actually wear them) and hand sanitizer which does NOTHING to prevent inhaling a circulating virus.

So what will happen if/when people are turned away because they set off the fever detector? The members of the cult of trump* have repeatedly demonstrated crazed behavior. If people are turned away, will the go quietly to get tested, or will they get riled up enough to cause chaos for all the world to see.

Start to finish, and for weeks afterwards, I have no doubt that this is going to be a massive disaster.

If they will be waiting in line in the sun everyone will have a elevated temperature
maybe they will turn everyone away or just give up and let sick people in

Nothing about this rally was thought out with any common sense, at all. But then what else would we expect?

They will claim no failed temp checks even if there are
They will claim no sick people afterwards even if there are

They will use the above lies to bolster some others such as the virus is a media hoax etc

They will use the lies to have more hate festivals

And the dog whistle whispered message behind the lies will be: see? only black, brown and poor people die from the ‘rona, so whats the big deal?
