Can somebody (if possible) help me to understand Trump's course of action on the coronavirus?

I don't get it. I understand the economy is his top concern and that no amount of deaths is too many for him as long as he has stock market numbers to brag about, etc. And I also understand that holding a rally is a way of using his followers to give the illusion that the coronavirus scare if either exaggerated or over. But what if a great number of people die after attending the rally? What's his plan then? How would that benefit him?

I don't understand any of it. Why the issue with wearing a mask? Who is it going to hurt if he sets an example and wears a mask or at least supports the idea of wearing them?

Do they want people to die? Do they think not enough will die to affect the economy? OR, is the real goal simply chaos and destruction? But how would that help the Republicans hold on to power?

What if the GOP goal is no longer to win the White House but retain the Senate? If this is the case, it's much easier for GOP controlled states to suppress voting in blue districts in the name of "public safety" by whatever nefarious means necessary.

That's a nice way of saying he's stupid. In the end, he suffers from what virtually all conservatives suffer. It is the fractured point of view that their perception of how things SHOULD work is how is DOES work. It sometimes comes off as magical thinking. I call in "faith based reasoning". Facts be damned. He thinks the virus stuff is overblown and that the problem is testing. He doesn't see that this rally, and subsequent ones, not to mention the convention in Jacksonville could be the undoing of his whole campaign, and possibly his own life.

He says and truly belives it will just go away.

He and Fucks Noise gas light the public by acting as if it is over. You can see that works for a lot of people because bars and places are packed with maskless morons.

He just pretends it isn't a thing anymore.

He is bored with it. It isn't about him and his attention span is that of a gnat. He has moved on.

He doesn't care that 120,000 have died.
He won't care if 12,000,000 people die.
Or 120,000,000 people.

It isn't about him so he doesn't give a flying fuck.
