Had Trump, from day one, taken this seriously, said it was a major problem and that we needed to take extraordinary steps to protect our people, I don't doubt his followers would have followed what he said.
Alas, he refused that route. He planted seeds of doubt. Downplayed it. Suggested it was a hoax. Now they're all-in on the idea.
These people will do ANYTHING he says.
