Let's clarify something: Trump is NOT doing a "rally" in Phoenix...

He's speaking at a conference of "Students for Trump". with seating for 3,000, most of which will be taken up by conference attendees. No point trying to juice the numbers.

social distancing and/or wearing masks? 3000 close together is bad for contagion. Yet another example of his callousness towards his staff and followers.

1st Dream Center was established in a very bad part of LA by Tommy Barnett. He is a major figure in the pentecostal/charismatic movement.

One of his sons Luke is pastor of this Phoenix church. Another Matthew heads the LA Dream Center

There are now Dream Centers in poverty areas in many cities. There is one in
North Tulsa (historically black area, eg Greenwood in this area)

Wiki has article on Dream Center

There's lots I would say vs Assembly of God, Tommy. They doubtless fleece some in congregation. BUTDream Centers do definitely help poor and troubled where they are established

A DUer commenting on another post about this Phoenix church said people coming to food bank where he volunteers report receiving all kinds of help from the church, much more than food bank can provide. Money for these services comes from congregation

They put out a statement saying the rental doesn't mean they agree with the message.
