Willard is not awkward in his hidden camera video

Did anyone notice that? He's completely comfortable and at ease. He also seemed more truthful. Why does a man who is only comfortable around millionaires want to run for president of a country where the median income is around 50k/year?

edited to clarify: "truthful" about who he really is, as usual, his "facts" are wrong

The time shall soon come, when the hard working man can no longer feed his family, his children deprived the opportunity to higher education, the social order stagnate, and an era of American Aristocracy takes reign; however, this reign will be short-lived, as history will repeat itself once again:

Bring forward the wicked and cruel, and allow the Guillotine bestow its divine wisdom upon them, for they shall be judged fairly.

He's among his people and speaking the truth as he sees it. When he's campaigning among "you people" he is ill at ease and full of lies.

So this video also reveals that his odd manner everyone wonders about is not some kind of social disability. It's just how he acts among the peasants while trying to remember the lies he's got to tell.

I can't tell if he's awkward from the clip. If he seems more relaxed, it's likely because he's being himself, a dick!

any man who isn't satisfied with $300 million is quite sick, unbalanced.

He was confident. He wasn't fumbling or stumbling for words. He didn't seem awkward or ill at ease. He was calm and in control. He was also showing complete contempt for ordinary people. THAT was the real Mitt Romney!

The only reason Republicans run for higher office is so they can divert public money into their own pockets.

I once worked a private function that McCain spoke at (in the 90's). He was a lot different in a small room of businessmen than he was on TV. A lot more open and relaxed. Frankly, a lot nicer too. He even spoke kindly about Clinton, who at the time was mid investigation.

Sociopaths have personas that they hone over a lifetime. When they feel safe, they allow their actual (sociopathic) selves out. Clearly, with Romney, his authentic sociopathic personality is more relaxed than the persona he uses in the rest of his pathetic life.

I think when he's dealing with "his people" he can be at ease. The fact that he has to get all folksy in his in his mom jeans in a feeble attempt to manipulate probably makes him uneasy because even he has to admit he's better at steamrolling over people than charming them.

Bain didn't exactly buy companies by mail order, he had to pitch his deals to the current owners. Saying whatever was needed to get small groups of wealthy people to let him in the door and get Bain in control of companies is his career.

This is a nice, familiar situation for him. It's why God put him on this earth and installed his batteries.
