COLBERT, being predictably brilliant in pinning BOLTON down, not letting him get away with anything:

Most of the topics in the interviews had been covered before, the difference being the COLBERT touch.

1) That he joined the Chump's train wreck because he thought he could work him into things.

COLBERT said that it was OBVIOUS what SHITLER is like, from the beginning of the campaign on. BOLTON tried mightily to slither away, unsuccessfully with COLBERT. To me, the hook is that BOLTON is *blind*, ideologically blocked, is stymied/limited - a STUNTED jerk who is way NOT as smart as he thinks he is.

2) That SHITLER is preferable to Hillary/BIDEN/any-Dem, them "worse" than him.

BONUS #3) About not testifying, that it was the Dems' impeachment that was botched.
