If he loses in November, he will resign sometime in January so Pence can be sworn in to pardon him for any and all federal crimes. The statute of limitations on some of his crimes in New York may have run out. In New York, it is six years for felonies. Even if he is indicted for the payments to silence his sex partners, I’m just not sure a jury would convict a former president.

I would love to see Trump and his whole family indicted for their many crimes, and I think investigators may try. I just have a hard time believing that convictions would result. I really hope I’m wrong.

the false sense of power he imbues them with, and all the excuses he gives them for their failures ("it's not your fault, somebody else is to blame!&quot . Like two parasites locked in a kiss.

Resign.

1) Lost the election.
2) Planned coup by military rejected.
3) Insurrection by GOP faithful fails.

He can't wait till the new President is sworn in, the law will catch up.
So resign so Pence can pardon him.
