(14,858 posts)I like Biden's chances in Ohio more than other states that I see touted so often on DU, such as GA and TX.
I also remember seeing posts from some big campaign donors here in 2016, proclaiming that Ohio was hereafter a "lost cause" because we're "all stupid" now. Hogwash!

(14,858 posts)I felt a little insulted by generalizations that I saw in 2016. I wouldn't make those kinds of generalizations even for states like Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, etc. (Those states are indeed a lost cause for now, in terms of the electoral college, but I mean the generalizations about education, intelligence and political affiliations for everyone in those states.)
