Dear Mitt, about that new video...

Once my mom and dad retired, they didn't make enough (taxable) income to pay income taxes. Both paid Social Security taxes all their lives. Dad fought in the Pacific. Mom worked at the Martin bomber plant. She worked on the Enola Gay.

Both paid Medicare taxes from the day the program started. And both paid into a pension system. They didn't live high on the hog. But thy did have the chance to travel and didn't have to worry about how to keep the heat on in the winter. Or where the next meal was coming from.

But after watching the video from Mother Jones, it seems you wouldn't have thought of them as contributing to society.

Pensions. In those days you paid taxes as the $ went into the pension, so it was not taxable when you collected. Pensions. Something you raided often in your Bain days.

Medicare as a voucher system? You get my drift.

I agree for this one time with ANN COULTER. YOU WILL LOOSE!!!
