Robert Trump, Donalds younger brother, spent at least 10 days in a Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit before being released this week and launching legal action to try and stop the publication of his nieces explosive tell-all book, Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the Worlds Most Dangerous Man, according to multiple people familiar with the situation.
Robert, 72, had been at Mount Sinai hospitals Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) in New York since at least June 11th, being treated for a serious condition. He was discharged on Sunday and despite his stay in the hospital, he wasted no time in filing and signing complicated legal documents aided by his celebrity attorney Charles Harder and releasing a statement.
Her attempt to sensationalize and mischaracterize our family relationship after all of these years for her own financial gain is both a travesty and injustice to the memory of my late brother, Fred, and our beloved parents. I and the rest of my entire family are so proud of my wonderful brother, the president, and feel that Marys actions are truly a disgrace, Robert said in his statement to The New York Times roughly 48 hours after he was discharged from hospital.

He's just afraid she's going to spill the dirt on him too. They are all afraid of being exposed for the sick, dysfunctional family that they really are. Donald is the most afraid of all. Because I honestly believe that she is finally going to be the first member of that family who will finally tell the truth about the Trumps. They are only as sick as their secrets.
And if she makes money off it, so what? At least it's honest money which is more than anyone can say for the rest of them. People want to read her book and she will profit. Let's not judge her until we know how she plans to use that money. She may just decide to become a philanthropist.
This is one family that deserves to be exposed and brought down. If she can help to contribute to their fall, more power to her.

(19,565 posts)There's nothing new here, this sort of exploitation is extremely common amongst the wealthy.
They'll prop him up and tape a statement from him if he's coherent next. It's how it's done.

All the Trumps fear exposure of family dealings considering their very shady history.

He is sounding just like you would expect him to as Grump's Brother. Their closet must be filled with so many skeletons you can hear the bones rattling.
