Son of a former NASCAR star said he wished they'd tied the noose to Bubba Wallace "and drug him

around the pits"

The idiot racist has since apologized for the remark, but no apology covers up his vicious racism.

Sporting News story published this morning:

https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nascar/news/bubba-wallace-noose-mike-skinner/tl4wwe3qo3ih1k3jmrf64w62w

Dustin Skinner, the son of former NASCAR star Mike Skinner, has apologized for a troubling post on social media after a noose was found in Bubba Wallace's garage Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway.

The post said, in part, "Frankly I wish they would've tied [the noose] to [Wallace] and drug him around the pits because he has single handedly destroyed what I grew up watching and cared about for 30 years now." It appears to be a Facebook comment, and the words have been condemned by the Skinner family.

Dustin Skinner competed in one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race in 2008. The Race Car Solutions website, owned by Mike Skinner's other son Jamie, says Dustin Skinner now "has transitioned into success as a driving coach and crew chief."

After his post started to get attention, drawing criticism, Dustin Skinner said his comments were not about race.

"I love everyone this was not about race at all," Skinner wrote. "I disagree with what [Wallace] is doing, but it was stupidly foolish for me to say what I said and I truly regret every bit of it. If there was a way to take last night back I would. All I can do is say I'm sorry. I love everyone and wish the world to pull back together and us all find a positive way to agree or disagree."

-snip-

His dad, Mike Skinner, who is NOT a racist, released two statements making it clear he doesn't agree with his son, that he supports Bubba Wallace.

See the full article at the link for Mike Skinner's statements.

And for the full text of Dustin Skinner's despicable statement, which included calling Bubba a "scumbag piece of shit" and saying his hat was off to whoever put the noose there.

the racist imbecile thinks (if he thinks at all) "drug" is past-tense for drag (sorry, old English major here)...so Skinner is "inviting" a James Byrd lynching...why the hell are the Skinners and Trumps of the world allowed to procreate??

Seriously, if you feel the need to wear your racism on your sleeve, expect blowback from the normal people.

We're coming for you and you've lost the narrative. Which means, you're losing and we're winning. Finally. It's a new era, and this isn't resonating like it would have even just 5 years ago. Sure, this racist narrative might hold some Deep South seats, but it's a flash in the pan, style win. Ultimately, they're being marginalized more every day.

Or are good ol’ boy family ties too strong to be broken by mere racism?

Your "apology" is meaningless. You're only apologizing because you got called out for being a racist. You don't mean it.

Or to prove you mean it donate $10,000 to the NAACP!

I sure hope Bubba or NASCAR/Richard Petty's company has provided body guards for him. These maniacs are out for blood.
