(19,066 posts)Worldmeters will adjust it soon to put those deaths in the past appropriately.
But deaths are no longer going down after the last few days.
And 1700 deaths that get added to past days' counts isn't a good thing, it just means we weren't doing quite as well on some previous dates as was thought.

I suspect an error somewhere. Give it a few hours.
