I've always advised fellow liberals not to put bumper stickers on their cars because of the potential from vandalism. While I'm sure extremists on both sides aren't above a little vandalism, it's much more prevalent on the right (ironic, right now what with the statues and all). You go to sign companies and have them cut up their magnetic sign material to the size of the stickers, put the stickers on those, and put the magnets on your car. Then take them off and throw them in the trunk when you park.
