Not Even Diebold Can Save Him Now

Phwew. What a weight off my shoulders.

The polls had always been way to close. But I don't see any way in the world that the gap will not be at least 60-40 in a few days.

Hey, Rove, put that in your pipe and smoke it. Screw you!

But, really it is more like 100%, what form this assistance takes depends on your economic status. If you are a corporation it might be in the form of a loan so your company doesn't go under, Romney would be familiar with that. If you are unemployed it will come in the form of a check from the unemployment insurance you paid into. There are a wide variety of services the government provides and even wealthy families can benefit from school lunch subsidies, do they really think those lunches come in under three dollars without subsides, puh and lease. So, really Obama should get 100% of the vote.

But, Romney has his 40% made up of 28% who are just right wing extremists who would vote for a piece of toast if it would promise tax cuts to the rich so that they could pay higher taxes. And then there are the quite a few low information voters who will just vote for the party because they remember what a nice guy Ike was or the younger ones that still think Reagan was a saint. They vote Republican because that is just what you do when you are a patriot. And then there are the people who just know they will be rich someday and don't want to pay higher taxes, yeah the delusional ones that have no capital and no ideas for creating massive wealth, but someday they will be rich I tell yah. I will be shocked if Romney gets less than 40% of the vote, But, I will also be shocked if he gets much more than that. Oh and lest I forget members of the 1% who never ever got government help of any kind *cough*

The GOP when they are desperate. And they are desperate. The polls could be 70%-30% and they would say they caught a lot of voter fraud. Or the new voter laws kept people home. Or they close polls just because. It's going to be a nail biter all the way.
